These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of meetClubs ("meetClubs", "we", "our", or "us"), including our website, mobile web application, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1) Eligibility and Account Use

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account, including protecting your device and session.
  • You must provide accurate profile and account information and keep it reasonably up to date.
  • You may not impersonate another person, create deceptive profiles, or use the Service for fraud.

2) Description of the Service

meetClubs is a social and location-enabled platform that allows users to create profiles, interact with others, exchange messages, and access subscriber-only features. Service features may change, be updated, or be discontinued at any time to improve quality, security, or compliance.

3) Acceptable Use Rules

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Break any law or regulation.
  • Harass, threaten, abuse, stalk, or exploit others.
  • Post or send unlawful, defamatory, hateful, sexually exploitative, or violent content.
  • Upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, scrape data at scale, or interfere with Service security.
  • Use bots, scripts, or automation that harms platform integrity or user experience.
  • Reverse engineer or copy substantial parts of the Service except as allowed by law.

4) User Content and License

  • You retain ownership of content you upload or submit (such as profile text, photos, and messages), subject to the rights you grant below.
  • You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, modify (for formatting and compatibility), display, and distribute your content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
  • You represent that you have all rights needed to share your content and that it does not violate third-party rights.
  • We may remove or restrict content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or legitimate safety standards.

5) Payments, Billing, and Subscriptions

  • Certain features require a paid subscription. Pricing and billing terms are shown before purchase.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe or other third-party processors under their own terms and policies.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing date.
  • If payment fails or a subscription becomes past due, premium access may be suspended until payment is resolved.
  • Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable once charged for the active billing period.
  • Applicable taxes, fees, and exchange costs may be added based on your location and payment method.

6) Third-Party Services

The Service may use or link to third-party tools and providers (for example payment processing, maps, authentication, analytics, or messaging infrastructure). We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

7) Privacy and Data Handling

Our data practices are described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are part of your use of the Service. By using the Service, you acknowledge that we process personal data as described in those policies.

8) Service Availability and Changes

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  • We may perform maintenance, security updates, and feature changes without prior notice.
  • We may suspend or terminate access to protect users, comply with law, or address abuse and fraud.

9) Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, create risk for users, or expose us to legal or technical harm. Provisions that by nature should survive termination (including payment obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms) will survive.

10) Intellectual Property

Except for user content, all software, design, text, graphics, logos, and other materials in the Service are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. No rights are granted except as expressly provided in these Terms.

11) Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your needs.

12) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, meetClubs and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

13) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless meetClubs and its affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14) Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the Service operator is established, excluding conflict-of-law rules. You and meetClubs agree to first attempt to resolve disputes informally. If unresolved, disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of that jurisdiction unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.

15) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
